Areas of Special Interest
Brooke’s path to becoming a physiotherapist began with a BSc (Hons) in Clinical Exercise Science from Bournemouth University, where she developed a strong interest in strength and conditioning through both academic study and practical experience. Building on this foundation, Brooke worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant in an NHS trust hospital for three years, where she gained hands-on experience on the wards, supporting patients with a wide range of medical conditions and clinical presentations.
Brooke later completed her MSc in Physiotherapy with distinction from St Mary’s University, Twickenham. Throughout her training and professional experience, Brooke has managed a variety of cases, including acute and chronic musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and reconditioning for older adults.
In addition to her academic qualifications, Brooke has pursued further professional development through certifications in sports taping and strapping, cancer-specific rehabilitation and exercise, and orthopaedic bracing and management. Her research dissertations focused on the management of shoulder pain and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, reflecting her keen interest in both shoulder care and inflammatory autoimmune conditions.
Brooke is passionate about promoting holistic health and wellness. She works alongside her mother, a qualified Health Coach, to encourage individuals to lead active, balanced lifestyles. As a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor, Brooke teaches weekly classes and provides one-on-one sessions aimed at injury prevention and strength development across diverse populations.
Brooke’s own background in sport includes running, dancing, and playing competitive tennis at Sutton Tennis Academy. Outside of her professional life, Brooke enjoys going to the gym, trying out new recipes, and exploring restaurants with family and friends.
Brooke’s passion for health and wellbeing, combined with her strong academic background and diverse clinical experience, allows her to deliver personalised, evidence-based care. Brooke is dedicated to tailoring treatment plans to align with her clients’ goals and to supporting them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Brooke is a registered member of the HCPC, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and PhysioFirst. Brooke regularly attends Physio Matters webinars to stay up to date with the latest research and best practices in the field.
